My name is Kris and I am an Occupational Therapist from the Philippines. I started working with children in 2007. I have dedicated my entire career in promoting child development, empowering children and their families, building skills and shaping young minds. With over 10 years experience including extensive training in sensory integration, neuro-development, and behavioral management, I appreciate and understand the needs and difficulties of children from a variety of backgrounds.
I believe that children must continuously grow and obtain the skills for a better quality of life. Every child must develop the skills necessary to meet the demands of their academic environment. In addition, we want to see them participate socially and thrive independently in everyday life. I am passionate about helping young children to be ready for school, build gross and fine motor skills, and manage a variety of engagement and attention challenges through a variety of strategies including fun, interactive activities and learning experiences. I welcome the opportunity to work with yourself and your child. I work at Mighty Oaks one full day per week, providing an hour of therapy for each group, once a week. On the other days, I work at Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre.
